So, I’ve got a question for those of you who dig my stories, specifically Jan the Vagabond (though there’s an option here for any of you who aren’t spending any time with the little barbarian.)

The first story in the comic strip is winding to a close, and it’s left me curious (this is where you come in) at how to proceed. I’m still very much enjoying cartooning, but it is a lot of work, so, as a fan of my work…

Which option would you prefer:

A. I’m not following the online strip. I only want to read Jan as a comic book.
B. Ditch the comic book. Jan should ONLY be an online strip.
C. I’m enjoying BOTH an online strip and a comic book format, and have no problem waiting longer for the comic book since I’ve got the strip to follow.
D. You should ditch Jan altogether and put out more books.

Had a blast last night at @boozybookfest The hall was HOPPIN’ as I got the chance to introduce new fans to Timberhaven, Harrowed Earth, and Koduri, talked shop with fellow creatives, and got a visit from Juniper’s biggest fan!

It was a great night. Highly recommend this show!

@tremendicon 2025 has wrapped and, as usual, I am equally energized and exhausted.

Exhausted because I’m no longer in my twenties and three days of anything is a lot, let alone a con FILLED to the brimming with things to do. Yet energized creatively beyond reason.

I spoke on some great panels this year, which in turn typically led to an attendee meeting me back at my table to ask further insightful questions and continue the conversations sparked in the room.

Speaking of conversations, the networking and shop talk with my fellow creatives continues to be second to none at Tremendicon. It’s truly an astounding array of people positively dripping with talent, and getting to know them over the years, learning from them and growing further in awe, is part of why I keep coming back.

Hanging with my pals @jtroberts1972 @authorlcmortimer @cullenbunn and @jimmyzjohnston is another huge part. Nobody gets up to shenanigans like authors do.

Thanks, as always, to the Tremendicon staff for all that you do to put on one helluva show!

Only the Mouseguard comic pic is mine (I merely mentioned that I loved the series and hadn’t heard there was a new issue while chatting with the always dope @atomicbroadcasting and the next day was gifted the comic alongside this sweet note because Tremendicon is housed with an abundance of the coolest, kindest people) so thanks to @dontdatedemons and @mrscullenbunn for not seeking legal recourse against me for the thieving of your work.
