Two posts in one month!
Vegas oddsmakers are losing their minds.
There's not much to this outing other than thanking everyone who read my last post and sent me such kind words. (It's here if you missed out and want to catch up. Go ahead. I'll wait.) But no worries! I'm still working on projects. I'm just tackling things from a different perspective.
So, order of business:
If you want to get my weekly take on things I'm watching, reading, and playing, my Substack will be the place to get it. I plan on keeping things more work-related here, so hop on over and check it out!
I'm part of a group of authors who share thoughts on creating, give notes, or lift each other up when the grind of being an artist gets us down. We call ourselves . . . I"m kidding. We don't call ourselves anything. We're adults, not superheroes/villains.
Anyhow, among the crew, some things are poppin'.
Legendary L.C. Mortimer has a hardcover collector's edition of her Just Another Day in the Zombie Apocalypse headed to Kickstarter very soon. Six hundred pages of zombie action at your fingertips!
She's also got a newsletter here.
Speaking of Kickstarter, the joint effort of Cullen Bunn and Outland Entertainment started theirs to showcase Wintermourne, and RPG zine with a limited edition print run. Horror, fantasy, and RPG. What are you waiting for?
Individually, Cullen also has his latest book, Bones of Our Stars, Blood of Our World, available for preorder. An ancient evil is rising among the residents of an island. Kind of like Jaws, if the crew of the Orca were contending with cosmic horror instead of a great white shark.
While Outland is about to drop the first issue of their free online magazine, Outland Worlds! Learn all about it here. And keep an eye out. I, alongside all the authors listed here (plus Josh Roberts of Swords in the Shadows fame), may or may not have something pop up there one day.
And finally, JimmyZ is still sharing his thoughts on movies, books, and games over at Cthulhuville.
It's a veritable smorgasbord of entertaining things to check out!
Til next time,
A.C.
